Mountain of Thanks: A Festival of Creative Giving

A free festival of gratitude and giving, outdoors in the Evergreen Design Center’s parking lot on Saturday, 14 November, 1 to 4 pm, put on by the Evergreen Creative District. Nothing is sold: local businesses, groups and makers hand out samples, sessions and small gifts, there is a stage for anyone who reserves a turn, a community canvas and a clothing swap, and at 4 pm a “Kindness Chain” walk heads down to Main Street. It goes ahead in rain or snow, so dress warm. Parking at the Design Center is limited; the organizer points to street parking downtown and on Meadow Drive, and says shuttles are planned. Leashed dogs are welcome.
