Alderfer/Three Sisters East Trailhead
The eastern of the two Jefferson County Open Space trailheads into Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, on Buffalo Park Road a mile east of the West Trailhead.
One of two county trailheads into Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, run by Jefferson County Open Space. The county’s park page gives this lot’s address and places the newer West Trailhead a mile to the west on the same road.
Hours are the county’s standing rule for Open Space land: closed from one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise unless posted otherwise, with pets on a leash of ten feet or less (Park Regulations, read 6 October 2026). Check the county’s alerts page before setting out.
