Alderfer/Three Sisters West Trailhead
Rebuilt Jefferson County trailhead into Alderfer/Three Sisters Park: a larger lot, new restroom and kiosk, and four picnic shelters, two of them bookable through the recreation district.
The western trailhead into Alderfer/Three Sisters Park, reopened by Jefferson County Open Space after a rebuild that expanded the parking lot, replaced the restroom and kiosk, added signs and improved the Bluebird Meadow and Wild Iris trails.
Four picnic shelters sit here. Gooseberry and Kinnikinnick are first come, first served; Foxtail and Poppy are reserved through the Evergreen Park & Recreation District. Hours follow the county rule for Open Space land: closed from one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise unless posted (Park Regulations, read 6 October 2026).
